Weekend Golf

Hello. In Martin's absence I'm trying to see how this works.
On Saturday I shall be at Stoke Park - www.golfliveevent.com Might be fun, so come along if you wish. Stuart got me a ticket, but I can get 2 for the price of 1(£75).
So I am free to play on Sunday, and might be tempted to hit a few balls tonight if anyone wishes to join. Mind you I'm out to a client lunch in 30 mins, and that might adversely affect the purity of my swing later.

  1. If you are still standing, I could pitch up tonight for 8-9 holes.

Sunday is also probable, although the weather forecast is not good.

What times are you thinking of ?

    Cheers to all, Mark

  2. Hi Mark

I'm playing in a comp tomorrow which sadly will be my only golf this weekend. Should be free for evening golf at some stage next week though.

  6. It was good - lots of exhibitors and kit, but seeing as I have my discount possibility at Silvermere that wasn't of too much interest. Stuart tried out some drivers on the launch monitor and they gave him some recommendations. Then we saw Casey and Boxall talking and demonstrating driving - wow (so little effort, ball goes so far!), and then a 3 hole pro - am challenge (Poulter and DJ Spoony in one team). And we saw retief Goosen demonstrating how to hit 130yard bunker shots to within 5 yards! Monty and Peter Allis weree around some whare (probably in the executive pie bar) but we didn't se them. Stayed a couple of hours.
