The blog counter is correct... fewer than six weeks to go and time to start making sure that you are all ready for the off on the 28th May.
Here's a brief check list, some of which may apply to you:
1. Bring a current handicap certificate
2. Drivers: ensure European insurance in place
3. Non-drivers: please ensure that you have secured a place in one of the 3 cars departing these shores
4. Ensure Travel and Golf insurance in place (a hole in one can cost you a lot...) - probably worth bringing your European Health Insurance Card, if you have one
5. Golf balls will probably be more expensive over there: bring a few extra along as plenty of water on first day's course (though if you run out, I am sure Brother R will have plenty...)
and then there's the usual travel stuff:
6. Valid passport and driving licence
7. Euros
8. Chargers for mobile phones etc.
9. Plug converter (standard European 2-pin)
10. Euro-Sat Nav if you have one (I shall provide maps anyway)
