JLC Event 2011?

Tom Kerridge Restaurant

Gents,

We talked about getting together later in the year with our better halves for a social gathering.

Can I make a proposal: we had an excellent Sunday Lunch at Tom Kerridge's Michelin-starred pub, the Hand and Flowers in Marlow,  last weekend and can thoroughly recommend it. The food was excellent, the wines reasonably pricedand the atmosphere relaxed.

We booked a table at 2:30 pm and left around 5.  At no time were we hassled and we even got the opportunity to meet with the chef himself (see AJ's Facebook page for the photo!).  This worked really well and I would suggest we do something similar.

Those of you who are into such things may recognise him as one of the winners of the Great British Menu in 2010 and 2011.

    Looks great Tom Kerrige usd to be chef at Monsieur Max in Hampton - so there is some continuity for the JLCC. About £50 per head or £100 per head if Roland choses the wine.

    Count me in.
