JLCC-9

Single digits now...the excitement grows!

A few words of wisdom to set you on your way:

The first record of golf in England is more than a hundred years older than its appearance in Scotland.

and a quote to go with it:

"A typical day in the life of a heavy metal musician consists of a round of golf and an AA meeting." BILLY JOEL

  1. A reminder: for those of you with frequent flyer cards in the Star Alliance group, you can save time at the airport by pre-registering your details here:

    http://www.flybmi.com/bmi/en-gb/manage-my-booking/manage-my-booking.aspx

You will need to enter the booking reference (3T95PK) and your surname to gain the relevant miles... albeit not that many!

  2. I may be heading up to Burhill this evening for some much needed putting practice. But if anyone else can be persuaded to play a few holes, then I am easily diverted. Might have Stuart in tow.

  3. Once upon a time, a guy asked a beautiful girl "Will you marry me"?
The girl said, "NO"! And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and went fishing and hunting and played golf a lot and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

    The End

Of course - I don't really believe in the above sentiment. I always call Fiona 'babe' and she thinks it's a really sweet, sensitive side of me.

She obviously hasn't seen the film....
