Weekend Golf - 4th/5th December

I hope everyone followed the trials and tribulations of a certain Ian James Poulter at the weekend (if not, you can read about them here). I thought the sanguine manner in which he penalised himself, thereby giving up any chance of winning the tournament and the £00,000s of prize money was exemplary - contrast this if you will with the weekly antics of our footballing so-called stars...

Looking out of the window today, it doesn't look very likely that we shall have climactic conditions conducive to the world of golf at the weekend...but just in case, here's the place to make any arrangements, putative or not.

    gentlemen

    unlikely to be able to play this weekend as my mother is staying.

    however , the following week i woiuld like to play the mixed foresomes if somebody can put my name down.

    need to find a partner!
